This intelligent add-on for the VIA Mobile360 Safety Solution for Forklifts moves beyond static speed caps. It creates a responsive vehicle environment where speed is automatically regulated based on real-time hazards, driver behavior, and facility location.

Precision Velocity Management

The VIA Speed Limiter Solution isn’t a simple “on/off” governor. It allows fleet managers to program distinct speed settings, in addition to a master maximum speed. The system’s core strength is Intelligent Speed Reduction. When the VIA Mobile360 sensors detect hazards, such as a pedestrian, or even an unbuckled seatbelt, the system automatically throttles the forklift down to a safer, pre-set velocity (turtling). Importantly, the system is designed to never fully stop the vehicle, ensuring the operator maintains control while effectively mitigating the risk of high-speed collisions.

Modular Hardware for Total Fleet Control

Every facility has a unique layout and risk profile. Our solution offers modular components to help you customize your level of oversight:

  • Speed Limiter : This base component sets the maximum vehicle speed and executes slowdown commands based on alerts from the system, such as when a pedestrian is detected nearby, unbuckled seatbelts, or unauthorized drivers.

  • Speed Zone Sensor Kit : This add-on uses transmitters and receivers to establish specific speed zones, triggering automatic speed changes when the forklift passes them, such as moving into a warehouse from outside.

Compatible with almost any forklift equipped with an electric throttle, our solution features custom-engineered harnesses that ensure a warranty-safe installation.
